TOM CHANDLEY OVENS SUPPLIES AWARD WINNING FARM SHOP
An award-winning family run farm shop based in Dorset has enjoyed the benefits of baking quality breads in a Compacta oven from Tom Chandley Ovens.
Goldy’s Farm has been established for over 10 years and their breads have won them a commendation as Best Local Food Retailer within the Countryside Alliance National; Farma Awards Environmental Farm Retailer of 2008 and Best Rural Retailer in the Wessex Region, in 2007 and 2006. Their high standard is evident by their selection of only the finest local and organic ingredients, through to their use of quality equipment, such as the Tom Chandley deck oven.
A Chandley 4-2-6 deck oven was purchased for the opening of another Goldy’s Farm premises last year, also in Dorset. Jenny Goldsack, owner of the Farm shop said the decision to buy from Chandleys was down to Chandleys reputation and familiarity with the staff members.
Masterbaker, Ashley, has operated a Chandley oven for many years for baking goods at the original farm shop and he found that it has consistently delivered. The new deck oven has also proven to meet performance standards according to Ashley. One of the best indicators has been customers commenting on the quality of the breads.
The deck oven is used to bake a range of goods which includes Goldys sour dough breads made from their own home grown wheat milled on the premises, cakes and pies; and also for bakery master classes which are run on site.
Chandleys commitment to its customers is evident as they continue to supply reliable ovens for a range of baking needs.
